The 2019 Edmond Open was not lacking in excitement in the first round. The first 3 games of the evening were very close from tip off to the final buzzer.

In the 6:30 pm Game 3, the Wolves faced-off against the Casady Cyclones and came away with a 49-42 win.

The Wolves started their offensive onslaught in the 1st quarter with 21 points and limiting Casady to only 6. The Cyclones then began to limit their own turnovers and find their range beyond the 3-point arc to close the gap to a 27-19 halftime score. The wolves then came out strong in the 3rd quarter outscoring Casady 17-10, before closing out the game and holding off Casady's pressure.

Talyn Shettron led all scorers with 15 points. Also for the Wolves, sophomore Michael Reeves scored 10, and the other Shettron brother, Tabry, chipped in 9 points.

The Wolves will face Edmond North today at 6:30 pm, with the winner moving on to the Championship game on Saturday at 5:00 pm.
