Edmond North's varsity baseball team swept a pair of district games this week over Putnam City West. The two wins clinched at least the #2 seed in the playoffs, which means the Huskies will be hosting a regional in two weeks.

North got two more impressive starts from seniors Caleeb Isaacs and Jackie Robinson. Brendon Carter, Max Bouvette, and Gage Messner also contributed to the pitching effort. Combined they all struck out 16 batters and didn't give up an earned run in the two wins.

Monday, the Huskies were led offensively by Jackie Robinson who had 3 hits. Karsten Menard, Kruz Simons, Carter Hines, and Colby Entwistle all had 2 hits a piece. Janson Reeder hit his team leading 7th homerun.

On Tuesday, Carter Hines continued his hot streak by picking up three more hits at the plate in the 6-2 victory over the Patriots.

The Huskies start play in the COAC Conference tournament today against Westmoore and Southmoore at Deer Creek HS. Friday they will take on Santa Fe at SFHS.
